Three wired access points replaced a router-and-extenders setup that left the upstairs unusable for video calls.

The challenge
Video calls dropped in the upstairs office and the primary bedroom got roughly a tenth of the home's paid internet speed. Two plug-in extenders had been added over the years and made roaming worse.
Existing setup
ISP router in a downstairs media cabinet, two wireless extenders, no structured cabling.
What was installed
- Three ceiling-mounted access points — main floor, upper floor and patio
- Ethernet run to each access point from the garage
- Extenders removed, one network name across the home
- Channels and transmit power tuned after a coverage walk

Installation approach
Cable was dropped from the attic into interior walls on the upper floor and pulled through the garage ceiling for the main floor. One day on site, including the coverage walk and final tuning.
Result
Full paid speed in every bedroom and the upstairs office, stable video calls, and usable coverage on the patio. No extenders left in the house.
