How Cabling.com works
This page is maintained by the Cabling.com team to answer common questions about where our job listings come from, how we handle your data, and what to do if something looks wrong.
Where our jobs come from
Cabling.com aggregates two kinds of listings:
- Direct-posted jobs published by employers who created an account and posted directly on Cabling.com.
- Imported jobs automatically fetched from public employer career pages (for example, an employer's Greenhouse or Lever board). Imported jobs link out to the employer's own application page — we never accept applications on the employer's behalf.
Every listing carries the source it came from. If an imported employer asks us to stop, we remove their listings within one business day — email info@cabling.com.
Scam warnings
No legitimate employer on this site will ever:
- Ask you to pay a fee, buy equipment, or transfer money to accept a job or interview.
- Request your Social Security number, bank details, or a photo of your ID before a formal offer.
- Conduct an entire interview over text message or a chat app you've never heard of.
- Send you a check to "buy your own equipment" and forward the balance somewhere.
If a posting or a message you received about a posting matches any of the above, do not respond — flag it below and we'll investigate.
Applications happen on the employer's site
For imported listings, clicking Apply takes you to the employer's own application system. Cabling.com does not receive your application, resume, or contact details for those jobs — the employer does. For jobs posted directly on Cabling.com, applications are visible only to that employer's team and Cabling.com admins.
Report a problem
Every job page has a "Report this listing" link. Use it if the job is expired, a duplicate, misleading, or a suspected scam. For anything else — content questions, DMCA, privacy requests — email info@cabling.com.
Email & data preferences
Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Job alert emails include a per-alert unsubscribe token that works without signing in. To delete your account and associated data, email info@cabling.com from the address on the account. See our Privacy Policy and Terms.
